FACT: Spring onions are also called scallions or green onions.
You can eat the leaves and the bulbs.
Like all onions they are in the allium family and they have
many anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
Chop the stem mid way up and slice onion bulb in quarters.
In a frying pan add olive oil and let it heat up.
Add onions and start moving them around the pan for
5-7min, or until tender and charred.
Add salt to taste and fresh lime juice,
cook for one more minute
Serve as a delicious & fresh side!
